Kayla McGaffigan represented the Assumption University women's ice hockey team as she was named the New England Women's Hockey Alliance Player of the Week, as announced by the Conference office on Tuesday afternoon.

Kayla McGaffigan, Assumption University
The junior recorded her second-career multi-goal game on Friday evening, as she scored both goals in the Greyhounds' 2-0 win at Post. She capped off the weekend by scoring in the shootout. The South Dennis, Mass. native tallied six shots over the weekend for Assumption, contributing to the Greyhounds' first win and shootout win of the season.
