WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University Men's Ice Hockey team is the top-seed in the Northeast 10 Conference Playoffs for the second time in three seasons, as the Greyhounds will host the No. 3 seeded Saint Anselm College Hawks, on. Saturday, March 7 at 7:10 pm.

THE SEASON TO THIS POINT
Record: 22-8-2 (15-3-2 NE10), 11-3-0 at home, 11-5-2 on the road

• Assumption has the top-ranked offense in the conference (4.13), while ranking third in scoring defense (2.75)
• The Greyhounds have scored the third most goals in a single season in conference history, the most since Southern New Hampshire had 152 during the 2004-05 season. 
• Jonathan Surrette became the all-time NE10 single-season leader in goals (32) and points (62) this season, while leading all NCAA players - across all divisions - in goals and points. 
• Joining Surrette was Shane McElhaney as Defensive Player of the Year, Michael Salvatore as Goaltender of the Year, Jake Russell as Rookie of the Year, and Michael Looney as Lance "Duke" Brady Coach of the Year. It is the first time in NE10 history that one program has swept all major awards.
• The Greyhounds lead all of college hockey with 11 short-handed goals.

• Saint Anselm has the second-ranked offense (3.10) and has the fourth-ranked scoring defense (3.06). 
• Forward Cam Collins and defenseman Sean Connolly were named to the All-Conference First Team, while forward Luke Linart earned All-Conference Second Team honors. Connolly also represented the Hawks on the NE10 All-Rookie Team.
