WINTER PARK, Fla. --The Assumption University baseball team fell to Rollins College 15-5 in their season opener, Friday afternoon at Alfond Stadium

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Rollins was the first team to get on the scoreboards, as they plated two unearned runs in the bottom of the first inning. Assumption answered in the top of the second, as
Will Novak's seeing-eye single through the left side of the infield, plated Chris Manzo from second base, making it 2-1.
After the hosts extended their lead to 3-1 with a bases-loaded walk in the bottom of the third,
Anthony Marco drove in
Tyler Cattoggio with an RBI single to right field, making it 3-2. The Tars broke the game open with nine runs in the bottom of the sixth inning to go up by ten (12-2).
Cattoggio answered for the Greyhounds with a two-run home run in the top of the seventh, before the hosts had a three-run shot in the bottom of the eighth.
Chris Klein drove in
Tony Salvatelli in the top of the ninth to make the final score 15-5.
