HOOKSETT, N.H. – The No. 4 nationally ranked Assumption University field hockey team dropped their second straight game, falling to Southern New Hampshire University 3-0 in non-conference action at Penmen Field Monday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Southern New Hampshire was the first team to score, as Annemartine Christis found the back of the cage at 6:43 of the first quarter. Despite being outshot 11-2 in the first half, the hosts would carry a 1-0 lead into the break.
Carley Lovejoy extended the Penmen lead to 2-0 with her goal at the 41:15 marker of the third quarter. Christis struck again in the fourth quarter, with just over ten minutes remaining, putting the hosts up 3-0, where they wouldn't look back.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- The Greyhounds outshot the Penmen 19-6 while having an 11-1 advantage in penalty corners.
