WINCENDON, Mass. – The Assumption University women's ice hockey team would drop the regular season finale to Franklin Pierce University, 1-0, at the Jason Ritchie Ice Arena in New England Women's Hockey Alliance action, Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Franklin Pierce was the first team to get on the board, as Emilie Prive scored at the 12:57 marker of the first period. The Ravens continued the pressure in the first period, as they outshot the Greyhounds 13-8 during the opening 20 minutes.
In the second period, Assumption flipped the script, as the visitors outshot the hosts 13-5 in the frame but were unable to tie the contest. The game would head into the third frame with FPU leading 1-0, but despite the Ravens 19-9, the Greyhounds would be unable to find an equalizer and would fall 1-0 in the regular season finale.
