WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University women's ice hockey team scored a program-record seven goals as the Greyhounds defeated Post University 7-3 in New England Women's Hockey Alliance action Saturday afternoon at the Worcester Ice Center.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Assumption started fast, as
Kiersten Browning scored halfway through the first period.
Rachel Agerter doubled the lead for the Greyhounds. Post got on the board at 14:10 before tying the game early into the second period.
Alexa Hanrahan regained the lead three minutes into the second period before
Heather Ajakie doubled the lead at the halfway mark.
Caroline Lilley, Sherdian Terrazzano, and Alexi Kirkeby scored in the third period to push the Assumption lead to 7-3 to pick up the weekend sweep of the Eagles.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Carissa Mudrak logged 33 saves in the crease for the Hounds.
- Assumption outshot Post 37-36, while the Greyhounds won 35 of 63 faceoffs.
- Thirteen different skaters recorded a point for the Blue and White.
- Assumption leads the all-time series 5-1-1.
