DURHAM, N.H. – The Assumption University women's ice hockey team dropped a 6-0 decision to the University of New Hampshire in their latest non-conference game at the Whittemore Center on Saturday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
New Hampshire struck first with a goal from Alyson Hush at 8:43 of the first period. Hush scored again on the power play at 9:37 of the second period, doubling the Wildcats' lead to 2-0.
In the third period, the Wildcats erupted for four more goals, starting with an even-strength tally by Andi Calderone just 27 seconds in. Goals from Hannah Rodgers, Kira Juodikis, and Chavonne Truter capped off the 6-0 shutout.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Carissa Mudrak made 37 saves in goal for the Greyhounds.
- Assumption was outshot 43-23, including a 24-8 margin in the third period.
- The Wildcats went 1-for-1 on the power play, while the Greyhounds were 0-for-2.
- Alyson Hush led the Wildcats with two goals and an assist.
- This was the first-ever meeting between Assumption and New Hampshire.
