Manchester, N.H. (October 22) -- The Assumption women's soccer team fell to Southern New Hampshire University, 2-0, on Saturday afternoon. The Hounds fall to 3-11-1 overall and 1-11-1 in the Northeast-10 while Southern New Hampshire improves to 9-6-1 overall and 7-5-1 in the conference.

The Penmen struck in the 22nd and 45th minutes to take a 2-0 lead into the half. Freshman goalie Rachel Edgin (Whitesboro, N.Y./Whitesboro) came in after halftime and made five second-half saves while not allowing a goal to provide the final margin.

The Hounds hit the field next on Wednesday, October 26th as the team plays host to UMass-Lowell. The game will begin at 7:00 p.m.
