WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University men's lacrosse team had two student-athletes named to the United States Intercollegiate Lacrosse Association (USILA) Division II Team of the Week, as
Connor Stack and
Boomer Staunton took home the honors, as announced by the association on Wednesday afternoon.
Connor Stack, Assumption
Junior | FOGO I Bourne, Mass.
Stack was dominant at the faceoff dot, as he won 12-of-18 faceoffs while winning nine ground balls in a 17-7 win at Georgian Court.
Boomer Staunton, Assumption
Sophomore | Midfield I Bloomfield, Conn.
Staunton continued his strong start to the season with a five-goal performance at Georgian Court on Saturday, as the sophomore led Assumption to a 17-7 win.
