WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University field hockey team opened up their 2025 season ranked fifth in the Penn Monto/National Field Hockey Coaches Association Division II National Coaches Poll, as announced by the organization on Tuesday morning.

Annie Lahey enters her 14
th season at the helm of the Greyhounds (0-0, 0-0 NE10) and returns eight of the 11 starters from last year's squad, which includes five All-NE10 selections from 2024:
Julia Carbone,
Paige Gillette,
Jillian McSorley,
Elle Murray, and
Nova Rijks.
Assumption will have a pair of games this week. They will host No. 7 West Chester University on Friday, September 5
th at 6:00 pm, before taking on No. 3 East Stroudsburg on Sunday, September 7
th at 1:00 pm.
