BRIDGEWATER, Mass.— The Assumption University women's ice hockey team falls at Stonehill College in the regular season finale, 1-0, in New England Women's Hockey Alliance action on Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
The first period saw Stonehill control the action, as they outshot Assumption 12-3 while winning 12-of-18 faceoffs. The Skyhawks carried their momentum into the second period, as they continued to outshoot the Greyhounds 16-5, but
Carissa Mudrak was solid in the crease as she logged 27 saves through 40 minutes. The hosts broke through at 16:44, as Maeve Connolly scored on the power play.
In the third period, the Greyhounds had two power-play attempts, but they came up short and fell 1-0.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Carissa Mudrak logged 34 saves between the pipes for the Greyhounds
- Stonehill outshot Assumption 35-11, while also winning 26-of-49 faceoffs.
- The Skyhawks went 1-for-2 on the powerplay, while the Hounds were scoreless on three attempts.
- Stonehill still leads the all-time series 6-3-1.
