WALTHAM, Mass. – The No. 24 nationally ranked Assumption University football team dropped its final Northeast 10 Conference contest of the season, as the Greyhounds fell to Bentley University 20-17, Saturday afternoon at Yetten Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Assumption was the first team to get on the board, as
Massimo Sgambati converted on a 22-yard field goal. Bentley responded with a 43-yard touchdown pass from Luke Warnock to Isaiah Decaias, making it 6-3 after 15 minutes. The Greyhounds went up right before the half, as
Kameron Robbins scored on a fourth-and-one from the 12-yard line with a stretch run to the left.
Coming out of the break, Bentley had a quick strike, scoring in 1:39 into the third quarter and converting on a two-point conversion to go up 14-10. In the fourth quarter, the Hounds went back in front, as
Jay Kastantin connected with
Connor Smith for a 22-yard touchdown pass to go up 17-14. The Greyhounds would carry the lead late into the game, but it would be Bentley who would regain the lead with 2:44 as Isiah Osgood ran it in from eight yards out.
