COLORADO SPRINGS, Colo. — The National Field Hockey Coaches Association is pleased to recognize an exceptional group of senior student-athletes for their remarkable accomplishments. Congratulations to the 36 athletes from 22 Division II institutions who have earned a place on the 2025 NFHCA Senior Team. This honor celebrates their outstanding performances throughout the season and their influence on and off the field. The NFHCA commends their invaluable contributions to the sport.
Assumption University, East Stroudsburg University, Newbury College, and West Chester led the way, each landing three student-athletes on the team.
Chloe Kaeller,
Jillian McSorley, and
Elle Murray will represent the Greyhounds in the Senior Game.
Kaeller started all 20 games this season, scoring one goal and recording two assists for four points, while recording eight goals and 19 assists for 35 points in her career. She was named to the Northeast 10 Conference All-Rookie Team before being named to the Synapse Sports All-American honors following her freshman campaign.
McSorley has been a cornerstone for the Assumption defense for the past four seasons and has started in 73 of 86 total games. This past season, she headlined the Northeast 10 Conference's top-scoring defense, as they posted a 0.90 goals against average, earning All-NE10 First Team honors. She added 2024 All-NE10 Third Team, 2022 NE10 All-Rookie Team, and 2022 Synapse Sports All-American honors to her trophy case.
Murray has been one of the top scorers in Assumption program history, ranking tied for third in career goals, and her 88 career points put her tied for fifth in school history. This past season, she set new career highs in goals (13) and points (30). For accolades, she earned 2025 All-NE10 First Team honors after being named to the 2024 NE10 Championship All-Tournament Team and the 2024 All-NE10 Second Team.
