WORCESTER, Mass.– The Assumption University men's soccer team fell in their home finale of the 2025 campaign, as the Greyhounds were blanked 2-0 against American International College, Saturday afternoon at Normand R. Marois '57 Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The first half was fairly even, as the shots were 7-6 in favor of Assumption, but the corners were a little more slanted, as the Hounds had six to just two for American International. The Yellow Jackets were the first team to get on the board, as Pietro Botasso scored off the pass from Simba Pelletier early in the second half. AIC found an insurance goal in the 74
th minute, as Raphael Rothschedl scored off Botasso's assist.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Cathal Carney recorded three saves in the loss.
- Assumption outshot American International 18-10, while having seven corners to just three for the visitors.
