WORCESTER, Mass.– The Assumption University women's soccer team dropped their second-straight Northeast 10 Conference game, as the Hounds fell to Bentley University 1-0 Wednesday evening at Normand R. Marois '57 Field.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The match started fast with the first goal of the game from Bentley Olivia Matthews in the first few minutes. Assumption and the Falcons battled back and forth through the middle of the field, maintaining strong defenses from both sides. The Greyhounds fought back with four shot attempts in the first half, but the Falcon defense put up a good fight with multiple saves from Bentley Holly DiPalo.
The second half of the match remained scoreless; however, both teams fought hard. Assumption's
Elizabeth Schoeneberger kept the offense going with two shot attempts on goal. With yellow cards on the Hounds, the game slowed down, and neither side was able to score. In the last minutes, the Hounds attempted three shots; however, each was saved by the Falcons.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Kaylin Hebert recorded four saves in the match
- Assumption outshot Bentley 19-8, while the two teams had five corners apiece.
- Elizabeth Schoeneberger had a game-high 11 shots, while Lilina Shiers had three shots on goal.
