WORCESTER, Mass.— The Assumption University women's ice hockey team picked up their third-straight overtime win, as the Greyhounds clipped Franklin Pierce University 3-2, Friday evening at the Jason Ritchie Ice Arena.
THE BASICS:

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Franklin Pierce started strong, as they struck for two power-play goals in the first period, but
Natalie Joiner got Assumption on the board with 3:08 remaining in the opening frame, with her first collegiate goal. After a scoreless second period,
Jodie Gratton tied the game for the Greyhounds early in the third. The game would head to overtime, where
Rachel Agerter scored 16 seconds into the frame, securing the OT win for the Hounds.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Jadyn Weiser recorded 28 saves in the win.
- Assumption outshot Franklin Pierce 31-30, while the Ravens won 31-of-52 faceoffs.
- The hosts went 2-for-3 on the power play, while the Hounds were scoreless on four attempts.
- Franklin Pierce still leads the all-time series 6-2-1.
