WORCESTER, Mass. – CJ Strong of the Assumption University men's golf team was named as the Northeast 10 Conference Rookie of the Week for the second-straight week, announced by the conference on Wednesday afternoon.

Strong tied for second on the individual leaderboard at the rain-shortened AIC Invitational by shooting one-over (73), while helping Assumption finish in first place as a team. He started and finished the round in impressive fashion, carding an eagle on the first hole and a birdie on the 18th.
