WORCESTER, Mass. - The No. 6 nationally ranked Assumption University field hockey team used a five-goal outburst to soar past Southern Connecticut State University in Northeast-10 Conference action Wednesday evening at Brian Kelly '83 Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
The Greyhounds took control early, showcasing their offensive prowess. Assumption opened the scoring just minutes into the match when
Mia Salah found the back of the net with an assist from
Chloe Kaeller. The first quarter was finished by a Hounds goal off the stick of
Caroline McSweeney.
Julia Carbone added to the tally in the second quarter, capitalizing on an assist from Salah at 16:17, pushing the score to 3-0 at halftime.
The second half saw Assumption maintain their dominance, with Salah striking again in the 51st minute, assisted by
Taylor Tory.
Abigail Romano capped off the scoring with a final goal in the fourth quarter, aided by
Callie Beauparlant, sealing a comprehensive 5-0 victory.
