WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University women's ice hockey saw their three-game winning streak come to an end, as the Greyhounds fell to the College of Holy Cross 6-0 in non-conference action Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED:
Holy Cross was the first team to strike, as Manny Gendron scored at 14:15 remaining in the opening frame. The hosts opened it up in the second period, as they struck for three goals in five minutes. Holy Cross added two more goals in the third period to pick up a 6-0 win over the Greyhounds.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS:
- Jadyn Weiser logged 31 saves in the crease for the Greyhounds.
- Holy Cross outshot Assumption 37-17, while the Hounds won 28-of-54 faceoffs.
- Neither team scored on the powerplay, as the Hounds were 0-for-4, while the Crusaders were 0-of-1.
