WORCESTER, Mass – The Assumption University field hockey team continued to roll as the Greyhounds picked up a 2-0 win over Bentley University in Northeast-10 Conference action Saturday afternoon.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Assumption got the ball rolling in a gripping match with scoring early in the game.

May van Woudenberg within the first seven minutes off a penalty corner. Bentley countered aggressively in the second quarter, but Assumption's solid defense denied any goal-scoring opportunities. At halftime, the Greyhounds led with five shots on goal to Bentley's four.
The intensity between the two teams escalated in the latter part of the game, captivating the audience. A crucial penalty stroke at 56 minutes, executed by
Lily Daly, sealed Assumption's victory. Despite a penalty against Assumption, the home team was able to maintain their 2-0 lead.
