WALTHAM, Mass. – The Assumption University men's tennis team dropped a Northeast-10 Conference matchup to Bentley by a 7-0 decision on Wednesday afternoon at Brandeis.

Junior Brady Ryan (Lynn, Mass.) and senior Max Francis (West Barnstable, Mass.) teamed up to defeat Jordan Soifer and Daniel Weitz at No. 1 doubles by a score of 7-5. However, the Falcons captured the other doubles matches to earn the initial point.

Bentley then swept all of the singles matches by having all of its athletes win in straight sets to seal the final outcome. Sophomore Alan Nguyen (Reading, Mass.) and senior Ethan Hall (Duxbury, Mass.) were competitive at No. 3 and No. 4 singles, respectively, as each athlete dropped their second set by a 7-5 score.

Assumption (2-3, NE10 0-3) will next travel to face Adelphi on Saturday afternoon.
