WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University women's volleyball team dropped their twelfth-straight match, as they were swept by Bentley University in Northeast-10 action Tuesday evening.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Bentley jumped out to an early 6-3 advantage before the Greyhounds rattled off seven-straight points. The Falcons responded with seven points of their own to go up 13-10. The two teams would trade points until Bentley was leading 22-19, and they closed out the first set on a 3-0 run, winning it 25-19.
In the early portion of the second set, the two teams traded points, but when the score was tied at 7-7, Bentley would string together 18 of the next 20 points to run away with the second set, 25-9.
The third set began with both teams trading points once again, but when the score was tied at 7-7, the visitors won seven of eight and 14 of the next 16 points. With the Falcons leading 23-12, the Greyhounds had a last push of four-straight points, but Assumption would fall 25-16.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Alexis Distasio and Carly Goodhue led the Greyhounds with three kills
- Kyra Belden paced the Blue and White offense with five assists, while Marissa Krawczyk added four assists.
- Brandi Montoya had 13 digs, while Krawczyk had both of Assumption's aces.
- The Falcons pushed their winning streak over the Greyhounds to 13 matches, with the last win coming on Sept. 18, 2002.
- Bentley continues to lead the all-time series 41-5.
