WORCESTER, Mass. – The Assumption University women's soccer team improves their playoff push as they pick up a 1-0 win over Le Moyne College Tuesday afternoon at Brian Kelly '83 Stadium.

HOW IT HAPPENED
Assumption controlled the possession for the majority of the first half, as they outshot their opposition 14-6. The pressure would pay off in the 41
st minute, as
Haley Brown crossed the ball through the box and found
Ashley Wenzel, who then buried the first goal of the contest.
In the second half, the Dolphins would generate more scoring chances, as they would outshoot the Greyhounds 12-10 and would have six corners to just one for the Blue and White. Both defenses would remain strong, as Assumption would hold on to pick up a 1-0 win at home.
INSIDE THE NUMBERS
- Julia Walsh made five saves for Assumption.
- The Greyhounds outshot the Dolphins 24-18, while Le Moyne took nine corners to Assumption's two.
