HOW IT HAPPENED:
- Pace built a 3-0 lead in the first half, as they received goals from Mackenzie Kurek (18th and 44th minute) and Emma Sinanan (29th minute). The Setters scored twice more in the opening ten minutes of the second half when Robyn Seward (48th minute) tallied her first goal of the season, while Victoria Kealy (53rd minute) recorded her sixth.
- Assumption broke its scoreless drought in the 66th minute when junior Ania Spina (Wallingford, Conn. / Mark T. Sheehan) sent a corner kick into the box that classmate Kallie Villemaire (Plattsburgh, N.Y. / Beekmantown) headed home for her NE10 leading 17th goal of the season.
BEHIND THE NUMBERS:
- Spina and Villemaire each lead the NE10 Conference in an offensive category, as Spina is tied for the most assists in the conference with seven, while Villemaire leads in goals with 17.
- Pace outshot Assumption 13-7, while also holding a 4-2 advantage in corner kicks.
