THE BASICS:

- The Lead: Neither team could get on the board in the first half and it remained that way until  Allison Sheahan (Higganum, Conn./Haddam-Killingworth) scored a last minute goal to put the Hounds up 1-0 and win their Northeast-10.

HOW IT HAPPENED:

- Mariah Peck (Suffield, Conn. / Suffield) took a shot in the last minute of play that was blocked, but it allowed teammate Allsion Sheahan to score off the rebound with just 47 seconds left.

- In the 41st minute, Assumption midfielder Andrea Koslowski (Warren, Mass. / Quaboag Regional) had a crucial defensive save on a penalty corner off of a shot from Raven forward Carly Canavan. 

INSIDE THE NUMBERS

- Kristen McCarthy (Danvers, Mass. / Danvers) led the team in shots with three , while the Hound offense totaled ten shots.

- Assumption goaltender, Sarah Bodzinski (Southwick, Mass. / Southwick Tolland Regional) earned a shut out with three saves in the game, while Raven goaltender tallied five saves 

- Franklin Pierce forward Carly Canavan led the Franklin Pierce offense with three shots. 

- The Hounds totaled six penalty corners while the Ravens had one.
