Worcester, Mass. (May 6) -- The Assumption College baseball team closed out the 2012 season with a 16-0 loss to Le Moyne College on Sunday.

Junior captain Shane Keddy (Worcester, Mass./Worcester Tech) went 3-for-4 on the day, and closed the season with a league-leading .389 batting average on the season. Keddy finished the season with 70 hits, tied for seventh most in a single season in school history.

After two scoreless innings, Le Moyne struck with a six-run third inning to take control of the game. The Dolphins extended the lead to 13 after six innings, and did not look back from there.

Assumption finished the season with a 12-31-1 record.
